*Make sure it has a recommendation. Look for a club that comes recommended by others who have experience or have done some research on their own.

*Look for longevity. Find out how long the wine club of the month has been around. There are many on the internet who have been around for a few years, and have established a reputation that they want to uphold. If the club wasn’t delivering on its promises, people would not remain members.

*See what choices of membership they offer. Some wine clubs offer different clubs that you can choose from to join, including International Wine Clubs, Champagne Clubs and many others. This guarantees that you are getting the most from the club, and that it is catering to your specific interest in wines.

*Check their shipping policies. Since you are having wine delivered to your door every month, you are going to want assurance that your delivery is coming with some kind of gurantee. Make sure that damaged shipments will be honored.

*Look for contact information. This may seem like common sense, but you need to be sure that you are able to contact the club if you have a question or concern with your shipment or membership. Make sure their is a reliable phone number included as a contact.

You want to be sure to get the most out of your wine club of the month membership, so make sure you decide carefully. Everyone has their own requirements and needs when joining a club such as these, so be sure you find the one that caters to you. Some people may feel more secure having a membership with a well-know club that has a reputation already, being endorsed in magazines and other mediums. This ensures that they are spending their money on a trustworthy company.

Kenwood Winery tour

Mattie Ivy tours one of the cellars at Kenwood Winery in Sonoma County. Out of all of the winery tours and tasting I have been on, this crew and their wine, was the most superb combination of family-like friendliness and succulent beverages. Only one place has rivaled it in my experience, Chehalem in Oregon. I suggest people visit both of these.
